Jobs & volunteering

A couple of new jobs surfaced this week. Thanks, Helmalie, for sharing the Library IT job with us at Frankston Library. I looks like an interesting position, and I wouldn't be put off by the title.

I have attached the SLV volunteering form which I received this morning. You send it back to Cathy Miller, her address is on the form. Here is what she also sent me:

"I have attached the Volunteer Application form for you to complete and return to me, along with any other information you wish to supply, such as a CV.
Generally speaking, we have 2 kinds of volunteer work: behind the scenes usually in collection areas (assisting staff with indexing, organising or repackaging items) and front of house (for example, tours of exhibitions). Did you have anything particular in mind? Time commitments and flexibility of volunteering hours vary depending on the task."

First days in the new job?

How is it going? Did the course prepare you at all? Would you like to share your thoughts. You can remain anonymous.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your encouraging emails!

Tez
