I am not 100% sure but I was lead to believe that the Mornington library was installing a dedicated "Teen" area where xbox and playstation would be available for the locals to play online. This information was given to me by one of the staff there when I was doing some research for a review of a public library. I did that research nearly 12 months ago, so I would be interested to see if this idea has come to fruition.
Interesting! I only know that SLV have a dedicated area. It would be great to get some contacts. I seem to remember someone at Swinburne mentioning it. Maybe we did the same subject!
Good point, Grace. One library I know allows community choirs to rehearse in the main library space. It seems that there are different philosophies out there.

ReplyDeleteI didn't even know the SLV had such an area, I hope it's well soundproofed.
