To attract excellent people we know we need to offer excellent benefits and conditions. That's why when you join Monash, you'll join a workplace where fairness and flexibility are standards, not afterthoughts. We offer a variety of professional development opportunities, generous maternity/parental leave and work arrangements that acknowledge one size doesn't fit all.
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to contribute to Monash University's social inclusion strategies through one of two new Library positions funded through the Higher Education Participation and Partnership Program (HEPPP).
The Subject Librarian works closely with the Learning Skills Adviser, social inclusion and other Library staff, to provide information services, resources and information research skills programs with a focus on the University's HEPPP aligned strategies of improved access, participation, retention and success for students from low socio-economic status (SES) backgrounds. Related Library programs and services share these goals.
This position is a member of the Berwick Library and Library faculty teams and works across the regional campus Libraries at Berwick, Peninsula and Gippsland to develop and implement programs which may also be implemented at other campuses of the University.
Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to "How to apply for Monash jobs" [pdf]
